Travel vaccinations are essential to protect against diseases that may not be common in the UK, but are prevalent at your travel destination. These diseases can ruin your holiday, or could also have lasting health implications.

The appointment is free, as long as you purchase a vaccine or product at the end of your consultation. Otherwise, we reserve the right to charge you a £25 fee.

• Altitude sickness - £15 per pack

• Cholera - £55 per dose

• DTP - £35 per dose (this vaccine is available on the NHS as well)

• Hepatitis A - £55 per dose (this vaccine is available on the NHS as well)

• Hepatitis B - £60 per dose

• Japanese encephalitis - £90 per dose

• Meningitis ACWY - £60 per dose

• Malaria - £40 per pack

• Rabies - £75 per dose

• Tick-borne encephalitis - £60 per dose

• Travellers’ diarrhoea - £15 per pack

• Typhoid - £40 per dose

1. When you make an appointment, our pharmacist will send you a risk assessment form via email. We ask that you fill this out before you come into the pharmacy to speed up your appointment.

2. During the appointment, we will go through all recommendations from national guidelines for all vaccines and products and help you decide which vaccines you require.

3. We will then vaccinate you.

4. And discuss other medicine requirements such as malaria and altitude sickness.

5. We will also provide you with full travel and safety advice and send this to you in an email as well.

6. Once done, we agree follow-up appointment dates and times where required (some travel vaccines require multiple doses - make sure to come into our pharmacy as soon as you know you are travelling to ensure you have time to receive a full vaccine course).
