Our service is for patients who have missed or weren’t eligible for their NHS HPV vaccines and would like to protect themselves now.

The HPV vaccine is not indicated as a treatment of cancers, lesions or warts of the genitals, cervix, vulva.

Patients ineligible for this service:

• Pregnant patients (however it can be given during breastfeeding)

• Those with a known hypersensitivity to a previous vaccine

• Those who have previously received a full course of HPV vaccine.

When you come in for the consultation, our pharmacist will conduct a risk assessment to determine if it is safe for you to receive the vaccination.

Once we confirm there are no contraindications or reasons to postpone, we will proceed with administering the vaccination.

Additionally, we will provide you with safety advice and ask you to remain in the pharmacy for 15 minutes afterward to monitor for fainting or any adverse reactions.

The HVP vaccine is given as 3 doses. Each dose cost £180, or you can purchase it as a 3-dose course for £530.
